During October 22 to 25 2026, Professor Baulin and Professor Galina, from A.N. Frumkin Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, visited Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and ShanghaiTech University. Professor Baulin and Professor Tao HE from SARI CAS are the project leaders of an international collaboration project between Russian and China: Highly selective green polyelectrolyte composite porous lithium-ion sieve adsorbents, 2026-2028. Professor Alex Volkov is the Co-PI of this collaboration. The project has been funded by NSFC-RSF. The project aimed at resource recovery using advanced adsorbents. The Chinese team targeted at lithium extraction from geothermal brine and The Russian team focused on rare earth separation.
